An advanced low profile design in cattle mineral feeders. Open feeding of tub is always downwind. The unit is able to stand up under high velocity wind and keep its contents dry in driving rain! Weather shield is formed from one piece of Poly that will not dent, corrode, or injure livestock. A galvanized vane is bolted to hood. The unit is equipped with a HEAVY RUBBER NON-CORROSIVE tub with strong cord content. The tub holds up to 100 pounds of mineral feed. The welded basket assembly is an integral part of the feeder base. It holds the rubber feed tub and anchors the weather shield and vane. The large 4 foot diameter welded base gives this unit good stability. The base ring is constructed of a heavy 3/4 inch solid steel rod.
